Jobs for Students are available in all major cities in India. Employers who wish to have employees on a short term basis usually prefer college students. This is because college students are bright young minds, are amenable and can be recruited for a short time for a lesser salary.
Students prefer such jobs because it helps them be self dependent by committing themselves to a job for a short time. However those who wish to pursue their studies by doing a full time job also have a number of options.
The best job open for college going students on a full time basis is a call center job. Call centers recruit candidates as young as 18 years of age. For international call centers the only skill you need to have is proficiency in English. Other jobs which students can do include data entry jobs, web designing jobs, SEO jobs, content writing jobs, web research jobs, physiotherapy etc.
The above mentioned jobs require skills in the particular field. If you do not have any of these skills you can do other small time jobs. These jobs include:
Working at Retail Shops: Retail shops require learned minds to explain facts to customers. Students, who can devote themselves part time or full time basis, are sought mostly by these stores.
Accounting Jobs for Students: Young students pursuing a course in accountancy are sought by tax firms or chartered firms, mostly during financial year ends.
Food Outlets: Famous food outlets like MacDonald’s or KFC require young learned work force. Students fit the bill perfectly.
Exhibitions: Students are roped in by fair organizers to explain and demonstrate matters to visitors.
Part Time Teaching: Many private coaching institutes require part time teachers to teach students. Young college students can be good guides to school students. Institutes offer college students teaching jobs regularly.
